Registration Renewal

CDBC registration is valid from April 1st to March 31st and must be renewed annually. Registration renewal is available every year from March 1st to March 31st in the Registrant Login section. Please read the information below before renewing your registration.

Renewal Process

Only three steps are required to renew your registration:

  1. Click on "Registrant Login" and input your user ID and password.View your current profile in the Profile Management screen. If changes are needed, click on the appropriate link under “Choose an Option.” Please ensure you save your changes by clicking the “submit” button in the lower left corner of your screen. If you wish to be removed from the College of Dietitians of BC register, please contact the office to be “Removed in Good Standing”.   2. Select Restricted Activities and indicate your proof of competence. Please email, fax or mail a complete Appendix 1: Application to Practice Restricted Activities (not necessary if you are submitting Appendix 2). If signed verification is required, please email, fax or mail both pages of Appendix 2: Verification of Current Competence to Practice Restricted Activities by the March 31st deadline.   3. Pay your fees by VISA or MasterCard through the secure online link. Alternatively, you may indicate that you intend to pay your fees by cheque or money order. Your payment must be received by CDBC by midnight, March 31st. Print your confirmation page for your files.

Registration Cards and official income tax receipt are available to download and print in your online profile under "Registration Receipts".

Renewal Deadline

In order to practice dietetics on April 1st and use the title "Registered Dietitian" or "Dietitian," your renewal application and fees must be received by the CDBC by March 31st each year. Registrants who do not renew their registration by March 31st may not practice dietetics and call themselves a dietitian beginning April 1st. An additional late registration fee of $250 is automatically added to the fee section on April 1st.
