Welcome to the
College of Dietitians of British Columbia

The College of Dietitians of British Columbia was established on November 2, 2002 under the Health Professions Act through enactment of the Dietitians Regulation. Bylaws for the College were approved by the provincial government on December 11, 2003, and on April 1, 2004 the College became the legal authority for the regulation of dietitians in British Columbia.

The College's Mission Statement is: Under the provisions of the Health Professions Act, the role of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia is to ensure protection of the public by endorsing competent dietetic practice and intervening if practice is unacceptable.

2008/2009 Registration 
In accordance with the bylaws, the Registration Renewal site closed at midnight March 31.  Late renewal is available until September 30. Registrants may update their profile at any time.

The Quality Assurance Committee and Board listened to you!  Revisions to the 2007/08 CCP have been approved.  Updated documents for registrants reporting in 2008/09 (group 2) will soon be available on the website.

Province-wide liaison sessions are coming... 
The Registrar and Board members are planning to visit several communities throughout BC to relay new CDBC information and facilitate discussions on scope of practice issues.
